I have lived in Carrollton since I was two years old and am a graduate of Carrollton High School. I continued my education at the University of West Georgia, where I met my husband, Brian. We have two beautiful children, Kendall and Zeke, who are also attending the Carrollton City Schools. My spare time is usually spent outdoors gardening or playing with my kids, with the occasional walk/hike. I also enjoy reading, painting, crafts, etc. I love teaching junior high-aged students because I believe this time is an important stage in a young adult's life that requires a strong positive influence. I also believe students need consistency and appreciation, and strive to offer that to each individual.
In order to help students, I always offer specific tutoring/work times whenever needed. These times differ according to planning times, meetings, and coaching schedules. Currently, there are set Academic Afternoons two days a week (dates may change from year to year) where students can work on projects, complete work, receive specific tutoring, etc.
